Conserving and enhancing biodiversity has become an increasingly important focus at our locations, through collaboration with partners and applying our own expertise.

Irish Cement continues to adhere to strict air emission limits. The Environmental Protection Agency sets air emission limits in Industrial Emissions (IE) licences at both Platin and Limerick. We aim to implement the Best Available Technologies (BAT) to improve environmental performance and meet licence requirements, including investing in abatement systems and maintaining equipment across our manufacturing sites.
