Platin Works joined

St. Oliver’s C.C. Transition Year Students visiting Platin Works, May 2010

with St. Oliver’s Community School as part of a new Business in the Community partnership. This is an itiative in to introduce 5th year students to the workplace in order to encourage them to remain in school and complete their Leaving Certificate. Students undertake a number of modules including goal setting, CV preparation, interview skills and partake in mock interviews with the  company. The students also visit the Works and learn about the day-to-day work carried out by our employees.
